Hi! I’m Wendy Griffith. I’m so glad you’re here! Thank you for showing so much love and interest in my second Singles Retreat!
As you probably know by now, I didn’t meet my husband until I was in my 50’s! and now that I’m happily married, I’m on a mission to encourage singles of all ages that they didn’t miss it! and it’s not too late! God’s timing is perfect but that doesn’t mean the waiting is easy – no, in fact, it’s the hardest part!
That’s why my husband Bill and I are so excited to host our 2nd annual Ready for Love Singles Retreat June 13th-14th at the beautiful oceanfront Wyndham Hotel in Virginia Beach. We want to remind you that God is faithful and He’s no respecter of persons. What He did for me and Bill, He can and will do for you.
Our dynamic speakers and anointed worship will help strengthen your faith as you enjoy fellowship with other singles from around the country. And of course! There will be plenty of beach time.
If you missed it last year or you’re just now hearing about it, I hope you will make plans to attend.

The Ready For Love Singles Retreat is a 2 Night Christian Singles Conference in Virginia Beach, VA on June 13th – 14th, 2025.
*The following is the anticipated schedule, subject to change.
DAY 1 • FRIDAY, JUNE 13TH, 2025
EVENING
4:30 PM: Registration Begins in the upstairs Atlantic Ballroom
(*You can still register up until 5 PM and after 5 PM if you’re arriving late.)
5:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Welcome Reception, Atlantic Ballroom featuring Virginia's finest hors d'oeuvres.
U’Nique B’Tique will be on hand with a “pop-up store” for the ladies featuring clothing, hats, jewelry, purses, sunglasses and more – much of it with super cute beach themes! I know I love to shop when I’m on vacation so I’m bringing the shopping to you!
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Worship with the Ascent Worship Band
7:00 PM: Welcome Remarks: Ready for Love Singles Retreat Hosts Wendy Griffith & Bill Susewind
7:40 PM: Q&A with Mrs. DC America JeanAnne Roberts on why it's never too late to find your crown.
8:00 PM: Special Keynote: Author & Journalist Jemimah Wright will share her incredible love story that took her from England to South Africa and how God sustained her with His promises during the waiting years.
DAY 2 • SATURDAY, JUNE 14TH, 2025
MORNING
7:15 AM – 8:30 AM: Work out with Personal Trainer André Owens on the beach
(*Don’t worry about your physical shape – you can go at your own pace and André will teach you some great moves and stretches to help you look and feel your best!)
9:30 AM – 9:45 AM: Worship with Hannah & Emily Puder, Atlantic Ballroom
9:45 AM – 10:15 AM: Words of Wisdom from Janice Bullard Ward
10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Stacy Hord Hulm and Dana Lyn lead a Healing Workshop: Take part in powerful prayers, break soul ties with your past and prepare your hearts for the new thing God is doing.
AFTERNOON BREAK
12:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Free time: Saturday afternoon is ALL YOURS to enjoy the sand, the sea, or the pool before our evening session!

Stroll along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and take in the ocean views
Venture down to the historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club on 42nd street (4200 Atlantic Ave.)
Explore the Cape Henry Lighthouse and take in the breathtaking scenery
Visit First Landing State Park for a peaceful nature walk
Grab a bite at a beachfront café or try fresh seafood at a local restaurant
Go dolphin spotting on a kayak tour, paddleboard rental, or boat excursion
Enjoy a scenic bike ride along the shore
(*Please try to eat dinner before the evening sessions, however the Wyndham's restaurant Surf Club Ocean Grille will stay open for late-night dining.)
EVENING
7:00 PM: Worship, Atlantic Ballroom
7:30 PM: CBN DC Correspondent Michele London shares her testimony of being a single professional and how she keeps herself encouraged while she's waiting.
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Sam & Simi O'Kai share their amazing love story of how God brought them together over ice cream and two continents.
We will end Saturday night with Worship and Prayer.

Travel back home unless you live in Virginia Beach or have extended your stay.

Yes! The Retreat begins Friday, June 13th, 2025 at 5pm with a Singles Welcome Mixer for Day 1! For Day 2 we will kick off the morning with an optional fitness class on the beach with personal trainer, Andre Owens. Saturday morning workshops and sessions will begin at 9:30am. All attendees will have a break in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful Virginia beach! Saturday evening sessions will start back up at 7pm.

At the moment there will not be a live stream of the Ready For Love Singles Retreat. This is an in-person only event.
